You might be wondering why this isn’t a What If tale or in its own mini series which are all valid questions to which I have no answers. However, in looking for some answers I read an interview with some of the creative team that explained that this comic was very much like the movie Unforgiven. Since I enjoyed that movie I figured I would give this issue a shot. Wolverine is very much hit or miss with me, but in the right spot I will enjoy a Wolverine story more than most of solo comics. I loved this issue. If this entire arc is similar to this issue then this has “Best of” material written all over it. ![]() Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Weekly Rankings For 06/18/08 Here are this week’s comics ranked prior to reading them, based upon past performance and advance information released on each issue: 8. It’s still a solid story, but we get a bit of a return to some of the traps with telling a Wolverine tale. Overall, the story is well thought out and has fantastic art. It’s been one of the most enjoyable Wolverine stories I’ve read in years. It’s Episode 71…another full length episode…and so soon after the ep 70.
