Muppet King Arthur #3 of 4
Boom! Kids Comics
Benjamin, Storck & Silvani
This issue begins the quest for the Holy Grail as Kermit (Arthur) finds his knights to be lazy and bored. The issue delivers plenty of gags and laughs as this issue really hits its comedic stride. There's a lot to like in this comic book as the cast of characters is slowly expanded to include virtually all of the A and B list Muppets. I found the mix between pop culture references, Arthurian lore and Muppets to be a terrifically entertaining and fun read.

Muppet King Arthur #2 of 4
Boom Kids! Comics
Benjamin, Storck, Silvani, Cobain & Bennett
King Arthur (Kermit) figures out his knights as more of the characters are moved into their places in the latest installment of Muppet King Arthur. As with the first issue the comic book moves quickly and has plenty of one-liners, pop culture references and a decent dose of slapstick. The art brings it's A game again as the Muppets come to life bringing their familiar images to the classic tale. This was another fun read.

Muppet King Arthur #1
Boom! Kids Comics
Benjamin, Storck & Alvarez
Each time I see that the Muppets are coming out with a new mini series I get excited and I cringe at the same time. I cringe because I find myself thinking the new series can't possibly measure up to the previous one, in this case Peter Pan. However, one issue into this mini series and my fears have disappeared. This comic book is fresh, exciting, funny, clever and is an overall excellent read.
