Hope for this title arrives with this issue. For one, the opening arc seems to end. We get some closure on the red Hulk, but not necessarily his identity. We get some character interaction and another large dose of action. This issue is far from perfect, but it is an improvement and provides an enjoyable read.

Sometimes, life is about catching up. I suppose, in the eyes of some, I will have only begun to do so, as I just now read my first comics work by the team of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale.

I want to like this comic. I loved almost every incarnation of the Hulk over the last twenty years. I feel I have been light on this particular title due to my biasness. At this point I would like to point out that I truly believe a comic is a team effort. I don’t praise or blame the writer or the artist for a comic’s success or failure. Even spelling mistakes are a team letdown. Having said that, my criticism for this comic runs deep. And it ain’t pretty.
