We sneak in a few advance reviews of Moon Knight #18, Amazing Spider-man #558, Young X-Men #2, Avengers Invaders #1 and Cable #3. Our Pick of the Week: Action Comics Annual #11. Plus a Nick's sporting a new 'do! 04/15/08 VA SAYS: We had too many reviews shot for Episode 71, so I had to cut some...but never fear, we're running them in a special bonus All-Review Episode! Reviews include: Cable #2, Astounding Wolfman #5, New Avengers #39, Moon Knight #17, Young X-men #1 and Goon #21 & #22. Plus Nick's got a spoilerific look at the epic Walking Dead #48. 04/05/08 Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews Cable #2 Cable fights Bishop and then some locals fight Cable and Bishop. This issue doesn’t deal with much of the present, but with the past. Or should I say, it doesn’t deal much with the future, but with our present. Check that. Time travel is confusing and is illustrated as such in this issue. The issue is good, but not great. There are a lot of questions with this issue with regard to continuity and I’m not talking about overall X continuity, but with events within this issue. |
