This issue focuses on the attempted rescue of the dwarf prisoner, named Hjalmar Anvilmar. He is the brother of one of Lo’Gosh’s buddies, Thargas. This issue gives the usual fill of action, but for the first time it feels a little unreasonable in terms of what they achieve. The artwork still delivers on every level. In all, this issue was good but nowhere near great. 01:58:46 pm, by ComicList Categories: DC Comics, Reviews, Geek Goggle Reviews, WildStorm Productions ![]() Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews World of Warcraft #9 The plot thickens for the out of place king as he advances to his thrown held by an imposter. The latest issue provides more characters, more creatures, more battles, more assassins and some more mystery. I’d say we have ourselves another solid issue in this growing universe. 02:44:05 pm, by ComicList Categories: DC Comics, Reviews, Geek Goggle Reviews, WildStorm Productions ![]() Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews World of Warcraft #7 The latest installment of Warcraft series has a fight on the high seas. Sure, you might be wondering why our heroes aren’t flying to their destination, but that is explained in this issue as they released their beasts of burden to freedom. That and it allows for them to take the very slow and dangerous road via a boat. The issue provides some good fighting and some excellent artwork. The character advancement in this issue was the acceptance of the king. It felt a little sudden to me. 02:05:18 pm, by ComicList Categories: DC Comics, Reviews, Geek Goggle Reviews, WildStorm Productions ![]() Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews World of Warcraft #6 The assassin gets dealt with, Broll gives up what he fought for in the last issue, Valeera finds her friends and Lo’Gosh gets some information on who he is. While it sounds like an awful lot happens in this issue, what is actually presented before us has some oddities that just doesn’t make it quite all fit. It’s not to say the issue was bad, I liked it, but I felt some of the things in this issue didn’t all click together. 12:59:45 pm, by ComicList Categories: DC Comics, Geek Goggle Reviews, WildStorm Productions ![]() Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews World of Warcraft #5 This issue delivers yet another solid issue which is quickly becoming the norm for a series that is hitting all the right notes out of the box. This isn’t your typical comic thus far, that has canned arcs with part one of X. Instead, the story just moves from issue to issue dealing with the new problem at hand. This format is working for creating interesting stories that fit in a bigger whole.
