Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel. -- Psalm 69:6
Lots of interesting news from WonderCon 2011 at Marvel Comics' Welcome to the X-Men panel, headlined by Rick Remender, Jason Aaron, Axel Alonso, and C.B. Cebulski! Here are some of the highlights:
The next big X-Men event is called Schism. Written by Jason Aaron and featuring art by Carlos Pacheco, Frank Cho, Adam Kubert, Alan Davis, and Daniel Acuña, it looks like boil down to a Cyclops vs. Wolverine confrontation.
Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, and other X-characters are returning–in the Age of Apocalypse, that is. Uncanny X-Force will be visiting that timestream and we'll be able to catch up with that reality 10 years after the original storyline.
The previous adventure will happen during the Dark Angel Saga, starring Archangel! Remender asks, "What is Archangel, and why is everyone accepting him without question?"
Fans want more Iceman! Really? I did enjoy when he was blessed by a priest (to become holy water) during the X-Men's recent battle with vampires . . .
