Vincent Price Presents #10Media Release -- San Diego, CA - Visionary Comics Studio and Bluewater Productions are celebrating a new creative partnership. Visionary's talent will be working on a number of upcoming Bluewater projects, including some of their highest profile licensed books. In addition at least two VCS titles will be coming out under the Bluewater banner hopefully by years end. "Darren and I have known each other for some time and often talked about doing some things together. It just so happens that several pieces all fell into place at about the same time," said VCS Creative Director C. Edward Sellner.

Bartholomew of the Scissors TPBThere’s been a lot of attention on Bluewater Productions lately, due in no small part to their Female Force line of illustrated biographies, which focus on powerful women in politics. But a lesser known fact is that Bluewater is also the home to a resurgence of horror with their Vincent Price Presents line and Bartholomew of the Scissors–a disturbing tale of an undead boy named Bartholomew and his quest for revenge. TFAW.com recently had the opportunity to sit down with Chad Helder, writer of Bartholomew of the Scissors (as well as writer and script editor on Vincent Price Presents) to talk horror and delve into the darker side of Bluewater.

Bluewater's popular gothic horror series "Vincent Price Presents" has been featured in “Fangoria”, “Horror Hound” and “Rue Morgue”. The comic series will now include Price’s iconic movie roles such as "DR Phibes," "The Tingler" and "House of Usher".

"What most people do not realize about this series is these stories are one shots,” said Publisher Darren G. Davis "Each of the 24-page comics is set up like an episode of the “Twilight Zone”. It makes every issue a great place for new readers to jump into the series”.
