Media Release -- Multi-award winning writer, JDMorvan (Wolverine: Saudade) and artists Looky (Nocturnes Rouges) and Olivier Thill will release a stunningly illustrated science fiction re-telling of the legend of Hercules this August, with a cover by the legendary comics creator, Walter Simonson (Thor)!

A bold new take of the Twelve Labors of Hercules, Hercules: Wrath of the Heavens will serialize the story in English for the first time, starting with the labor of the "Nemean Lion."

War rages across the galactic frontier. Hercules, half-human, half-god super-soldier, faces his greatest enemy – his own demons – in a bid for truth and redemption.

Debuting August 16 at all good comic stores and on digital devices, Hercules:Wrath of the Heavens #1 will be available to pre-order from ​ ​the June edition of​ ​Diamond PREVIEWS catalogue.

JDMorvan studied arts at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. After first trying has hand at being a comics artist, but soon realised that his true strength is storytelling. He resides in Reims, France.

Looky is a self-taught French comic book artist. He made his professional debut when he took over art duties on the fantasy series 'Nocturnes Rouges' in 2008. He stuck with fantasy and contributed to 'La Geste des Chevaliers Dragons' and modern renditions of 'Snow White' ('Blanche Neige') and 'Beauty and the Beast' (La Belle et la Bête').

Olivier Thill is a graphic designer and character modeller from France. Hercules: Wrath of The Heavens is his first comic.
