Media Release -- Fans of THE DARKNESS responded to the new creative team, David Hine and Jeremy Haun, by quickly snapping up copies of their debut issue, THE DARKNESS #101: The Crack in Everything, Part 1. The issue, which arrived in stores on March 21, has sold out and will be re-printed, with the second printing (JAN128232) arriving in stores on April 18.

2K Games, Top Cow Productions, Inc., and the Free Comic Book Day Committee announced today that they have teamed up to produce The Darkness II: Confession, an exclusive comic tie-in for The Darkness™ II video game, for Free Comic Book Day. The 32-page, full-color comic will be a prequel to 2K Games' upcoming video game, The Darkness II. Produced by Top Cow's lead artists and writers in partnership with 2K Games, The Darkness II: Confession will be distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors to thousands of independent comic book stores worldwide on May 7, 2011.

Media Release -- Top Cow Productions, Inc. proudly announced today that Phil Hester, the current writer for The Darkness, will take over artistic duties on the series for "Bog," a special two-part story which he has also written. "Bog" begins in The Darkness #80 which is solicited for a September 2009 release and will conclude the following month in The Darkness #81.
Phil Hester, whose previous art credits for Top Cow include the Daredevil/Magdalena one-shot, has been the sole writer for the third volume of The Darkness since its launch in 2007. The Darkness #80 marks the first time that his art will accompany his writing in the series.

LOS ANGELES, Calif., October 22, 2008 – Top Cow Productions, Inc. and The Hero Initiative proudly announced today a limited-edition variant cover for The Darkness #7 drawn by Phil Hester would be available for sale at Wizard World Texas, taking place November 7-9 at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the books will benefit The Hero Initiative.
