Tags: suncoast comics My son and I made our annual trip to Suncoast Comics in Jacksonville, FL, for Free Comic Book Day. Much as we found last year, there was a festive atmosphere, and the store, sidewalk and parking lot were packed with customers picking up free items (and buying lots of stuff, too) and very helpful employees guiding everyone along. Having seen what a wonderful job they do at Suncoast putting on a Free Comic Book Day, it's my hope everyone who reads this was able to a similarly great time at their local comic book shop. Despite everything I read about the future of comic books, it gives me confidence this industry can survive and thrive.
