Secret Six #17
DC Comics
Simone, Ostrander & Calafiore
Part two of the mini series that pits the Secret Six against the Suicide Squad versus the dead members hits the ground running. The comic wastes no time with matching up Secret Six and Suicide Squad members for a quick mix-up and then throwing the Black Lanterns counterparts on top of them. The comic book is a good read regardless of whether or not you've previously followed either one of the teams because the characters interactions reveal much of what you would need to know about the intricacies of their relationships and personalities.

Secret Six #15
DC Comics
Ostrander & Calafiore
John Ostrander gets a chance to play in a very familiar sandbox with this issue of the Secret Six as he pens a character he is very familiar with: Deadshot. While the character debuted in Batman in the 1950s, he’s made his bones recently in the pages of the Suicide Squad, Secret Six and various other projects. However, a case could be made that the character was never more interesting than when Ostrander was at the helm, so Ostrander takes the reins from Gail Simone for this issue and knocks it out of the park.
