A new arc begins and some of the same themes are continued in this issue as a new threat roles in for the new dynamic duo. It’s a good issue because it continues to build some tension and compromise between Dick and Damian. On the other hand it continues to throw challenge after challenge towards them on multiple fronts. It’s a very good opening issue to an arc.
Media Release -- The team of writer Grant Morrison and artist Frank Quitely has struck again, with the first issue of the BATMAN AND ROBIN once more sold out at DC Comics.
BATMAN AND ROBIN #1 will return in a new, Fourth Printing (AUG098009) featuring a recolored version of the original cover by Frank Quitely. It is scheduled to arrive in stores on October 7 and has a Final Order Cutoff date of September 17.
