From the Hip Flask web site: In order to help Moritat get ELEPHANTMEN back on schedule, Roaring Rob Steen, FLANIMALS illustrator and STRANGE EMBRACE colorist, has stepped in with a disturbing story set during the events of ELEPHANTMEN #0. Originally scheduled for ELEPHANTMEN #15, Rob turned the story in in such good time, we decided to pull it forward to give Moritat a quick breather.

The story, HUMAN REMAINS, feeds into the WORLDS COLLIDE story that will now span issues #13-15 and Rob will return to ELEPHANTMEN later in the year with a sequel and a prequel to his story -- because they're just aren't ENOUGH sequels and prequels in the ELEPHANTMEN mythology!
