Media Release -- Platinum Studios will be attending this weekend's New York Comic Con with its new digital partner, Panelfly. The partnership will bring cross-platform, multi-media content experiences to market and involve Platinum serving up stories and characters from its vast catalogue, with Panelfly developing feature-rich experiences across platforms and screens to bring these franchises to life like never before.
Platinum Studios will publish its graphic novel "Cowboys & Aliens" with It Books; an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, in hardcover on February 22, 2011, followed by a paperback in anticipation of the feature film release on July 29, 2011. "Cowboys & Aliens" tells the story of an alien invasion in the Old West in the late 19th Century. The graphic novel by Platinum Studios, Inc. Chairman and CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, was first published in December 2006, when it became the largest ordered graphic novel of the year.

Jon Geoffries has a problem with nightmares. Sometimes, he thinks he may be going insane. His doctor reassures him, however, that it is simply a "matter of brain chemistry." However, the meds which Dr. Maxwell prescribes not only exacerbate the problem, they are the means by which a whole new world is opened up to Jon. Literally. What's more, Jon doesn't want to be there. However, as a "unique", with no counterpart in this other world, individuals of both realms have nefarious designs on him.
