Media Release -- Shane Black, Director of the highly anticipated Iron Man 3 film, will be making an appearance at the Long Beach Comic & Horror Con on Saturday, 10/29 at 4:00 PM. Black, whose films include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Lethal Weapon and The Long Kiss Goodnight, will be hosting a panel to discuss his filmmaking career. He will share stories from the Lethal Weapon franchise, The Last Boy Scout, the writing and directing process and of course what is being planned for Iron Man 3 and the pressure of taking over the reigns of the incredibly successful franchise.

The creative minds behind the Emmy-nominated hit show scheduled to attend include: co-creators/executive producers/directors/writers Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, executive producer/head writer Tom Root, actor/writer Breckin Meyer and writers Erik Weiner and Matt Beans. Media Release -- Long Beach Comic and Horror Con announced that movie legend John Carpenter will be attending the convention on Saturday, October 29. Carpenter best known for films like Escape From New York, Halloween & The Thing will be signing a special preview issue of "John Carpenter's Asylum" at the Storm King Productions booth (913) along side creators Sandy King and Thomas Ian Griffith. Additionally, Jeff Balke, colorist on the project, will be at the show all weekend in artist ally at tables 1105-1106. Carpenter will be signing non-comic items with a signature voucher (limit 1 per person) available for sale at the Hero Initiative booth 213 for a $5 donation on Saturday until 4pm or until supply runs out.
