Media Release -- It is time to weave wonder and leave mouths agape in the wake of impenetrable accents and extraordinary ideas! It is time for YOU to return to MELTDOWN, because the Scottish swami Grant Morrison is returning to grace us with his presence and give us mere cave dwellers our first bouts of intellectual fire! Are you going to allow the microphone to be dominated with the weeping milk-tears of egg-handed fools who will simply rehash old discussions of the Talmud of Mr. Tawky Tawny or shall we look towards a brighter day to come and inquire after new scripts, songs, fashions and fabulations?

DC Comics has expanded the contents of the FINAL CRISIS HC, collecting the explosive event written by Grant Morrison.
Now running 352 pages, this title will include FINAL CRISIS #1-7, FINAL CRISIS: SUBMIT #1 and FINAL CRISIS: SUPERMAN BEYOND #1-2, all written by Morrison, along with a new cover by J.G. Jones depicting the penultimate scene of the series.
The FINAL CRISIS HC (FEB090203) is advance-solicited in the February Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on June 10 with a price of $29.99 U.S. Because of these changes, this title will be made returnable at a later date.

Led, as usual, by DC Universe Senior VP/Executive Editor Dan DiDio, the panel also included legendary penciler George Perez (who received claps from the crowd when he arrived first; ”For once, I’m early,” the artist said), VP of Sales Bob Wayne, Senior Story Editor Ian Sattler (“He’s going to explain to you all the minute details not in Final Crisis,” DiDio joked), Final Crisis/Blackest Night editor Eddie Berganza and writers Greg Rucka, James Robinson, Sterling Gates, and Geoff Johns.
