Media Release -- The Image Comics horror noir series FATALE debuted in January 2012 and swiftly became acclaimed creators Ed Brubaker's and Sean Phillips' best-selling collaboration to date. Its first story arc, contained in issues #1-5, is being collected into a trade paperback, FATALE: DEATH CHASES ME, to be published by Image this June.
Media Release -- FATALE #1, the debut issue of the new "horror noir" comic book series by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips is going back to press for an unprecedented fifth printing. The issue first landed on comic book store shelves on January 4, and this latest printing (MAR128079) will be in stores on May 9.
Media Release -- FATALE #3, the latest issue of the horror noir comic by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, sold out a week before its in-store date of March 14. This marks the third issue in a row of the Image series to sell out, making it the best-selling of Brubaker's and Phillips' collaborations to date. A second printing has already been scheduled and it will be in stores on April 4, the same day as FATALE #4.
Media Release -- FATALE, the crime noir with a horror twist by renowned creative team Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, and PROPHET, the relaunch of Rob Liefeld's 1990s Extreme comic, published by Image Comics, continues to be in-demand in comic book stores. Both titles will receive new printings of issues, now available for order from Diamond Comics.

FATALE #1 also sold out, despite a generous overprinting, and a second printing of that issue — which also has sold out — will be on the shelves on the same day that FATALE #2 hits shelves, February 1. FATALE #2 has also gone back to press, and its second printing will be in stores on February 22.

Brubaker & Phillips
Fans of Brubaker and Phillips know their kind of story and the style very well. On the off chance that someone hasn't read Criminal, Incognito or Sleeper I will try to explain how this all works and the nuisances for this particular issue. The bottom line is that Brubaker and Phillips tell dark stories that are about shady characters where the story takes their lives from one twist to the next and the true "plot" doesn't really become clear until the very end. The comics are done very well and each series has it's own twist on it and this one creeps into the horror genre that has ties to HP Lovecraft. This is an excellent first issue.
Media Release -- Today best-selling writer Ed Brubaker and his frequent collaborator and artist, Sean Phillips, debuted Image Comics' first new hit title for the year 2012, FATALE. This much-anticipated new series has already sold out at distribution level, despite a generous overprinting.
