Suspended Animation Review
Essential Fantastic Four Volume 1, published by Marvel Comics, 544 pages, $16.99.
Marvel Masterworks, or Marvel Essentials? Whichever a person chooses to consume the first 20 issues (and Annual #1) of The Fantastic Four is, for all intents and purposes, inconsequential. That is, unless you judge a great comics experience by whether or not the strip is in color. If so, you will be depriving yourself of some of the great works of the medium.
Media Release -- Johnny Storm has returned and he's brought along some new friends to save the world in your first look at Fantastic Four #602! From the creative team of Jonathan Hickman and Barry Kitson, the Fantastic Four have their hands full as an intergalactic war threatens the well-being of Earth. It's up to the combined might of the Inhumans, Johnny's new Light Brigade and Earth's Mightiest to quell the forces of the Kree Supreme Intelligence. Will the Annihilation Wave be enough to turn the tide? Find out as "Forever" continues in Fantastic Four #602!

Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews
Fantastic Four #600
Marvel Comics
Hickman, Epting, Magyar, Mounts, Di Giandomenico, Yu, Dalrymple & Doyle
The massive 50th anniversary celebration issue that marks the 600th issue (non-consecutive) of the landmark title: Fantastic Four. This issue provides some ninety-five pages of story spread across five chapters all written by Hickman. For the most part this issue is not a celebration of the rich history of the Fantastic Four. Instead the issue pushes a lot of the current storylines forward while tying some loose ends together from the previous highly publicized storyline, which was the death of Johnny Storm. As such, this review will not be spoiler free. The spoiler free review ends after the following paragraph.
Media Release -- "FLAME ON" once more! Fantastic Four #600, available today in comic stores and on the Marvel Comics app, brings the Human Torch back to the Marvel Universe. This issue also features covers from the some of the biggest names in comics, including John Romita Jr, Gabriele Dell'Otto, Arthur Adams and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada!
