While one high-profile superhero movie is hogging all the attention right now, another one is waiting in the wings, ready to swoop into the spotlight once it has the summer all to itself. Media Release -- Diamond Select Toys has released over 60 figures in their Marvel Select line, all in a consistent 7-inch scale, and the year 2012 marks the line's tenth anniversary. To celebrate, DST has several great figures planned, including figures based on the movies Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man, but the first figure to hit stores during our anniversary year is Colossus!
Per Diamond Distribution, due to the weight and detailing of Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles' Marvel Select Abomination AF (AUG091437, $19.99), the figure's blister card packaging will be reinforced with plastic twist-ties that will be inserted through the package's cardboard backing to secure the figure.
Diamond Select Toys' Ghostbusters Logo Bank will be available 03/31/10 instead of the previously announced 02/03/10.
Diamond Select Toys has issued shipping updates on the following products:
- Ghostbusters ECTO1 License Plate Replica will ship 03/10/10 instead of 01/13/10.
- Marvel Select Best Of Action Figure Assortment #4 will ship 04/07/10 instead of 11/25/09.
