Media Release -- DC Entertainment announces that five key Batman comics - DETECTIVE COMICS #1, BATMAN #1 and 4, and BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT #1 and 6 - have sold out and are going back to press for new printings!
Media Release -- As anticipation for May's "The Night of the Owls" builds, DC Entertainment announces that DETECTIVE COMICS #9 will also now be part of the greater battle for Gotham City.
ACTION COMICS #1, BATMAN #1 and DETECTIVE COMICS #1, three top-selling debut issues from DC Comics – The New 52, are once again out of stock at Diamond and are heading back to press for new printings!
Media Release -- DETECTIVE COMICS #1, by writer/artist Tony S. Daniel, will be going back to press for its fourth printing. This makes DETECTIVE COMICS the second title from DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 to reach four printings, following JUSTICE LEAGUE.

Media Release -- On Friday, July 24, Guinness World Records recognized DETECTIVE COMICS as the longest-running comic book. The award was presented to DC Comics President & Publisher Paul Levitz at Comic-Con International: San Diego by Craig Glenday, Guinness VP, Publishing and Editor in Chief.
"It's a great honor to present this award to DC," noted Glenday. "I know a lot of people back at the office are jealous, but once I saw we'd be presenting this award at Comic-Con, I knew I wanted to be the one to do it. It's a pleasure to present this very important record."
