Media Release -- Organizers of Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) have announced that the 2012 edition of the annual pop culture convention will take place April 13 – 15 in the North Hall of McCormick Place Convention Center. While this represents a small move from the West Building of McCormick Place where the show took place last year, convention officials note that they were eager to remain at McCormick while also securing a slightly later date for C2E2 in conjunction with a change of dates and venue for WonderCon in 2012. An announcement about WonderCon's change of dates and C2E2's cooperation in alleviating a crowded convention calendar has just been released (9/1/11) by WonderCon organizers.

Media Release -- Many of the writers and artists of Image Comics will be making the scene this weekend, March 18th - 20th, at C2E2 2011. This is only the second year for the convention, and while Image Comics will not have a booth on the show floor, many of our creators are making a strong showing in Chicago with panels and exclusives.

Media Release -- Aspen Comics is geared up to kick off the convention season at this year's C2E2 by launching the latest volume of Michael Turner's Soulfire at this year's show. Creators Frank Mastromauro (Dellec, Shrugged), Joe Benitez (Lady Mechanika, Soulfire), Jason Fabok (Soulfire) and Alex Konat (Fathom, Mindfield) will be on hand all weekend long at the Aspen Comics booth #820 to meet with fans, sign autographs and draw sketches.
