On Saturday, May 5th, the comic industry comes together to celebrate the medium that continues to entertain, influence and impact us with Free Comic Book Day, an event that sees all the great industry publishers offer free comics to readers new and old. While quantities and selection will vary by each store, Marvel encourages you to swing by your friendly neighborhood comic store and sample the very best of our industry. Marvel would also like to wish each and every retailer good luck on this day—their efforts in spreading the love of comics and bringing joy to fans should be celebrated by all, and we hope they enjoy this special event. However, there’s two comics you have to get: Amazing Spider-Man: Swing Shift, featuring all new story by Dan Slott and Phil Jimenez, and Marvel Adventures Three In One, in which a number of creators come together to provide new all ages Hulk and Iron Man stories, along with an instant classic Franklin Richards story from the Eisner-nominated one-shots. Did we mention that they’re FREE? Both of these comics are must-reads for Marvel fans new and old. In Swing Shift, Spider-Man encounters an enemy that will come back to haunt him soon and in Three-In One, you’ll see the very first solo Iron Man and Hulk stories in the Marvel Adventures Universe. That’s right! We’re offering you brand new tales with your favorite heroes! So, this Saturday, where are you going to be? And what are you going to pick up? That’s right, two all new, all different, all important Marvel Comics featuring our premiere heroes. And did we mention they’re FREE? AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: SWING SHIFT (FEB070019) MARVEL ADVENTURES THREE-IN-ONE (FEB070043)
