Media Release -- With the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con convention taking place August 19 to 22 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, local fan boys and girls are prepping their costumes and laser swords for a few days of escapist fun, including the opportunity to meet some of their favorite celebrities, artists and illustrators.
Per Diamond Distribution, the price of Moonstone’s The Phantom Chronicles HC Vol. 2 (SEP098062/DEC090954), incorrectly solicited as being $29.95, is in fact $37.99.
Per Diamond Distribution, Moonstone has cancelled The Spider: Iron Man War #1 (MAR101075-6, $3.99) & #2 (MAY101069, $3.99). The issues will be collected into a trade paperback to be solicited in the future.

Ed Hannigan, a prolific comic artist of the 70's and 80's, fondly remembered for his outstanding and innovative covers, is battling multiple sclerosis. Recently, the Hero Initiative announced a similar project showcasing his work called Ed Hannigan: Covered. Proceeds from this collection also go directly to Hannigan.

The kind folks at Moonstone Books have supplied ComicList with their solicitations for comics and other products featured in the January 2010 Previews, scheduled to ship March 2010.
Media Release -- Moonstone Books and Captain Action Enterprises, LLC, have announced plans to team-up two iconic heroes, The Phantom and Captain Action, in the "Phantom Action" mini-series on sale in March 2010.
In this new adventure, the Phantom is captured and his wife Diana pleads with Captain Action to help. "It turns out the young Captain Action has had a crush on Diana since his teenage years, so that makes for an interesting dynamic", said series writer Mike Bullock. The two-issue mini-series is pencilled by Reno and offers a variety of covers by artists Art Thibert, Mark Sparacio and Michael T. Gilbert.
