Studios' smash hit first issue of WARHAMMER: CONDEMNED BY FIRE #1, carrying an innovative scratch-off strip that gives game fans everywhere a chance at gaining entry into the beta test of the highly anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game from EA Mythic, WARHAMMER® ONLINE: AGE OF RECKONING, has had the deadline for entering the scratch-off code extended.

The original deadline of 5-31-08 has been pushed back to 6-14-08, giving fans who have not yet picked up a copy of the series more time to go to their local comic book store and buy a copy and get in on the beta test.
Each copy of WARHAMMER: CONDEMNED BY FIRE #1 (COVERS A&B) contains a scratch-off which reveals a code giving readers a 1-in-5 chance of entry into the WARHAMMER ONLINE beta test.

EA Mythic's WARHAMMER ONLINE: AGE OF RECKONING, also known as WAR, is the upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy world. Slated for release in 2008, the game features innovative Realm vs. Realm combat that immerses players in a world of perpetual conflict.

WARHAMMER: CONDEMNED BY FIRE is a five issue mini-series that directly follows BOOM!'s successful WARHAMMER: FORGE OF WAR mini-series, both of which are set in the Warhammer Fantasy world. Reuniting the WARHAMMER: FORGE OF WAR team of fan-favorite writers Dan Abnett and Ian Edginton with phenomenal art by Rahsan Ekadal, WARHAMMER: CONDEMNED BY FIRE concentrates on the exploits of Witch Hunter Magnus Gault. This tireless foe of Chaos roams the Empire seeking to stop the spread of dark magic and witchery of all kinds.

The BOOM! beta promotional code must be activated by June 14, 2008 to be eligible for the Beta Test. Previous registrants can add the promo code to their existing accounts by visiting the Beta Center. One in five registrants using this promo code are potentially eligible to participate in the Beta test. However, this is dependent upon the registrant meeting specific computer system specifications and the time of entry is not guaranteed. The Beta Test is an ongoing process and registrants will be invited to participate at various intervals until the launch of the game. Offer valid for North American beta test only. Only one BOOM! Beta Code Instructions
1. Create a North American Warhammer Online Beta Center account or log into your existing account at - https://betacenter.eamythic.com/login.php. If you are creating a new account, please follow the instructions in the confirmation email you receive to complete your account set-up.
2. Once your account is created, enter the Beta code in the Promotional Code section of your Beta Center account.
3. One in five Warhammer: Condemned by Fire readers will be chosen to take part in the WAR North American Beta. Selected participants will receive an email inviting them into the Beta. This email will contain instructions on how to access the Beta and download the game files.
