Media Release -- Ratti Entertainment LLC has announced today that the Black Salt comic book series is in pre-production for a 6 minute film short. Philip Daay has penned the script and Jamie Ruddy will direct. Ratti Entertainment, LLC will produce, distribute and market the short film as part of the next phase of the strategic multi-media marketing campaign to cross promote all products under the Black Salt brand. The short film is also a precursor to the Black Salt feature film.

Media Release -- This May 1st, Blackline Comics is offering two free titles to download from their website.
For the first time ever, Blackline Comics will be participating in Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) by offering not one, but two titles free of charge for anyone with a computer and an internet connection. For the whole day anyone can log onto www.blacklinecomics.com to download special editions of the martial arts thriller BLACK SALT: THE LAST HEROES LEFT and the sci-fi adventure COLONEL. Both titles will feature the official FCBD logo on the covers, and will only be available from Midnight on May 1st until Midnight May 2nd. The books will be downloaded in PDF format so that they can be read without the benefit of a digital comic reader app.
Media Release -- Publisher Blackline Comics' newly-released digital comic book title, BLACK SALT: THE LAST HEROES LEFT, has debuted on the digital comics website Comics XP (www.comicsxp.com) on September 23rd, and after one week on the site has risen to number one status on the website's top five best sellers of the week list.
"This is great news for us here at Blackline," said Michael De Lepine, Blackline's Director of Operations. "It's wonderful to see a breakout series like BLACK SALT shoot out of the starting gate like this. For Blackline's first title, it's gratifying to have a book that is superior in quality do well from the very beginning. We are confident that it only picks up more momentum from here on out."
