Dearest Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins, I'm proud to announce that CASPER AND THE SPECTRALS #1 hits comic book stores nationwide tomorrow after a limited release on the Wednesday before Halloween. Just in time for Casper the Friendly Ghost's 60th anniversary, Ardden Entertainment proudly debuts Casper And The Spectrals, an all-new take on the world's most famous ghost and his two friends, Wendy the Witch and Hot Stuff! There is a city within New York City known as Spooky Town, but most humans are unable to see it. Within this city live the Spectrals, the ghosts, goblins, demons and witches of the world. Flash Gordon #2
Ardden Comics
Deneen & Green
The first issue caught my interest. The second issue has me hooked. The strength of reviving this franchise is in its characters and their quick development. This comic has a good story that moves quickly, but the characters in it make their mark immediately and have a uniqueness to them that helps make them stand out. The artwork is detailed in a cartoon like manner that seems to fit this fantasy story very well. This series is shaping up to be a breath of fresh air and we are only two issues into it!

Flash Gordon #1
Ardden Comics
Deneen & Green
I had a passing interest in this comic when the solicitations came out. I saw it was shipping this week and I decided I would look through it in the store and if I liked the art I would probably buy it. As my budget provided I purchased it and this comic was a fun read that had strong characters immediately. This isn’t a super hero comic, but more of a sci-fi story, but the first issue is very much rooted in every day life until the very end, that is. This is a great first issue.
