Media Release -- IDW Publishing proudly announces the launch of their complete Angel and Spike series, including all one-shots and miniseries, on digital platforms. Over 150 comics and graphic novels will be available for digital readers worldwide. The first stories, including the 17-issue Angel: After the Fall co-plotted by Joss Whedon, and Spike: After the Fall, arrive today. New issues will roll out weekly over the next two months.
If there's anything TFAW.com has learned about our visitors, it's that they love the Whedonverse. So when we heard that Eisner Award-winning writer Bill Willingham–who happens to write one of our favorite series, Fables–was taking over IDW's Angel, we called him up for a little chat.
The always-entertaining Willingham took us through his journey to Angel, why he thought the TV series ended perfectly, and what's coming up for Fabletown. Read on!

Media Release -- San Diego, CA (April 3, 2009) – It’s a good day to be a vampire! IDW Publishing’s Angel: After the Fall Volume 1 and Volume 3 captured two of the New York Times Graphic Books Best Seller List (hardcover) top three spots, knocking Watchmen down to fourth place.
“Even without a current TV show, Angel has remained a fan-favorite character,” says IDW’s Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Chris Ryall. “Writer Brian Lynch, working with Angel creator Joss Whedon, has really delivered an epic story that picked up from the amazing cliffhanger of the show’s finale. It’s great to see that fans like what we’re doing.”

(San Diego, June 19, 2008) In IDW’s smash-hit series Angel: After the Fall, all of the characters who survived the melee that concluded Joss Whedon’s fan-favorite TV series have had to find their way in a Los Angeles cast into hell. As befit his character, the vampire Spike seemed to have it all at the start—he was set up in a certain Beverly Hills mansion, surrounded by a cadre of female warriors and Illyria, too. But it wasn’t always so easy for him, as fans will see come this July.
