Media Release -- J. Scott Campbell, one of the most popular artists in comics, has graciously accepted an invitation to Boston Comic Con 2011! One of the most requested guests for any convention, we are ecstatic to have the opportunity to bring him to meet his New England fans. Campbell first exploded on the scene in the 90s with his first book, Gen 13. His dynamic storytelling and reputation for illustrating some of the most attractive women in the industry continued with his follow-up project, Danger Girl. Media Release -- When you have a guest roster that boasts comic book icons like Jim Lee, Sergio Aragones, and Mike Mignola, one would assume a good turnout. The Boston Comic Con anticipated more attendees by moving to a bigger venue but no one could have predicted the crush of people who lined up for hours outside the Westin Waterfront on Saturday April 10th. With a record attendance 60% larger than any of the previous shows, the Boston Comic Con was clearly the place to be.
Media Release -- After three years the Boston Comic Con has outgrown its old venue and is happy to announce its relocation to the Westin Waterfront in South Boston. And with the new bigger, location, Boston Comic Con is bringing its biggest lineup of comic book creators ever on April 10-11, 2010!
