The new and original comic book series will emphasize educational and entertaining content for younger readers.

In "Gem Cell Research," part one of four of the new story arc, both tribes finally make it back to the girls' island. Ape Entertainment, Bolt Creative and iVerse Media are pleased to announce that Pocket God Comics was recently chosen as the "Best Comic App" of 2011 for iOS by readers from the 148Apps Network. In its fourth year of the award and with the goal of honoring the best, not just the best selling, the Best App Ever Awards accumulated more than 1.5 million votes.
Media Release -- Ape Entertainment announced today that they have become ownership partners in the Free Mars property, currently a web comic with a print OGN releasing in July 2012. Free Mars is a gritty sci-fi rock opera set against the backdrop of a dystopian Mars colony in the year 2339. As civil war looms on the Red Planet, the Revolution finds an unlikely symbol in the form of a punk band. The group quickly discovers, however, that their new fame comes at a price. Created and written by David Pauwels with art from Nicolas Giacondino, the graphic novel will contain the first year of web comics that started in July 2010. Ape Entertainment has helped publish many creator owned projects but felt strongly enough about this project to help finance it.

Media Release -- Ape Entertainment and Bolt Creative announced today that Pocket God Comics issues No. 12 and No. 13 are now available on Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. In No. 12, Sun has convinced the Guys to help her find her tribe's Gem of Life. A quest that will take them deep below the waves to find the rest of Sun's missing tribe, 4-part underwater adventure completed in issue No. 13. All back issues, including the first half of the "A Quest Called Tribe" story arc are all available via the App.

The app will feature the digitally restored and color corrected original master copies of the comic as well as new adventures under the title of Rich Rescue for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
