First, Daredevil news from Aceshowbiz:
Words are flying that a reboot of "Daredevil" will be made a project and that Katee Shackoff is attached to the film as the character Typhoid Mary. The speculation was based on the fact that the "Battlestar Galactica" actress has bought several Marvel titles at Los Angeles' Golden Apple comic book store.

Daredevil is one of Marvel Comics’ oldest and most endearing characters. Originally, he was the carefree swashbuckling hero. Along the way, however, he became the dark, gritty, Batman-like street-level crime fighter.

Daredevil: Born Again, the seminal, legendary story by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli, starts off in the thick of the action and doesn’t stop, ripping through Daredevil issues #227 through #233, taking the reader on a searing, gut-wrenching ride that’s provoking and thoroughly entertaining. It makes you question: what makes a hero? What makes a friend? A lover? An honorable man? A patriot? How low can a man (or woman) be taken (or take himself) and still survive? When there’s no hope, no fear, what’s left in the ashes?

Daredevil #111
Marvel Comics
Brubaker, Mann, Gaudiano & Hollingsworth
The start of a new arc gains a new reader: me. I read the freebie last month that explained the past four or five arcs of Daredevil and level set the field for new readers. I heard this issue was great so I gave it a shot and I liked it a lot. I didn’t think it was outstanding but I found it to be a really good start to a new arc.
